About Us
Founded by our owner and senior surveyor Steve Kendal at the start of 2023, Piran Surveys was created with the aim of taking a client focused approach to providing accurate and cost effective surveys. With experience providing a range of survey services across an even wider range of different sites around the country, Piran Surveys has the skills, experience and equipment to provide clients with the surveys they need to progress their projects.
Originally starting my career in 2007 working in and around Essex and London, I had the opportunity to learn the trade working on a wide range of projects based in both rural and urban environments.
In 2015 my wife and I relocated to Cornwall to be closer to her family as we started out own. I began working for a larger surveying company where I developed an appreciation for Cornwall and the types of projects in the area. After a number of years I had to opportunity to join a young company as a senior surveyor to help provide quality surveys, train new members of staff and continue its growth.
With a number of successful years in the industry, gaining knowledge and experience through diverse projects, I decided it was time to form my own company. Piran Surveys Ltd was formed in early 2023 and offers a wide range of surveying services.
